My name is Captain Anthony DeMao. I was born in Ft Lauderdale and started fishing at the age of 3. My family moved to Royal Palm Beach when I was 8 years of age and there, at age 15 I got my first lesson in guiding. Ive loved to put people on fish ever since. I've been fishing these river, lagoons and flats for over a decade and have the know-how and experience to create a memorable experience. You can seek-out redfish or trout on shallow flats, I'll show you how to spot and cast to the fish. Or, we can drift across large grassy areas and fish with lures or live bait. Cast a fly to tailing redfish, most of the flies I have tied myself.
Even when I don't have a charter scheduled I'm out seeking new places and creating fishing patterns in my mind. I practice catch and release but if you would like to keep your fish, you may, so long as they are in the limits of the law.
I am a licensed Captain and a professional fishing guide. I welcome all levels of experience and bring someone special along for a more memorable experience.
